This week we will finish our unit on Latin America! On Monday we will learn about the role of natural processes in South America. On Tuesday we will begin to learn how to analyze population data and on Wednesday we will roll that knowledge into learning Demographic Transition Models. On Thursday we will try to solve some of the issues in Latin America and Friday we will review for our test. Homework comes from the Latin American Unit in the workbook and was given out in class Friday.

This is the video that should be used during our Road Trip activity on Tuesday. On Monday we will look at conservation efforts in North America. On Tuesday we will review the continent with a safari trip. Wednesday is our Unit 7 Test. On Thursday we will do our Unit 8 Maps and on Friday we will explore Latin America. Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! This week we continue in studying our home continent of North America! On Monday we will continue to look at the regions the continent and our own individual heritages. On Tuesday we will to a STEP INSIDE activity where we assume the identity of someone from one of our regions! On Wednesday we are going to create travel pamphlets from the region we researched.
Students who dress as someone from their assigned region will receive 10 bonus points for their pamphlet on WEDNESDAY! On Thursday we will look at the climates and natural processes that shape our continent. On Friday we will take our test! Homework this week comes from Chapters 5 & 7 in the Study Guide and was given out last Thursday. It is due this Tuesday November 3. |
