Homework this week comes from the Study Guide Workbook and will be given out in class.
Scare Week! On Monday we will complete a case study on current issues in Europe and review for our test on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we will begin with our North America Unit with maps! On Thursday we will look at the similarities and differences of the different regions of North America. On Friday we will look at the role of infrastructure in the development of our continent.

Happy Columbus Day! Sadly I will be out Monday to visit a sick relative, but students will be given a study guide for out Unit 5: Asia Test and a chance to see my favorite world traveler, Ian Wright, explore the exciting streets of Tokyo. On Tuesday we will take our Unit 5 test. On Wednesday we will begin our Europe Unit with Maps and Vocabulary. On Thursday we will talk time zones and look at how they affect travel and commerce world wide and also in Europe. On Friday, we will do research and use graphic organizers to decide what European nations are the most influential.
Homework this week will be the Vocabulary Scavenger Hunt for Unit 6 and is due Monday. Welcome to Asia! On Monday we will complete our maps of the continent and begin to look at some of the human geography. On Tuesday we will use our Atlases to closely research an Asian nation. On Wednesday we will work in groups to discover some of the recent conflicts in Asia. On Thursday we will teach each other some of the things we have learned about Asia by sharing with our classmates. On Friday we will have a quiz and look at the physical geography and natural processes in Asia.
Homework this week will come from Chapters 8 & 9 in our workbook and will be handed out in class. |
